By accessing citare.in, registering for an account, or using any Citare service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”) and Ravi, trading as Citare (“Citare”, “we”, “us”).
If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use Citare.
Citare provides software tools to help local Indian businesses improve their citation visibility in AI-generated search responses. Our service includes:
Citare offers multiple subscription plans as described on citare.in/pricing (when available). Each subscription covers a single business location unless otherwise specified. Subscriptions are billed in Indian Rupees (INR).
All subscriptions are monthly and auto-renewing. Your subscription automatically renews on the same date each month unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise Citare to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis via Razorpay.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice to your registered email address. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, your subscription may be suspended. Data is retained for 90 days after suspension before permanent deletion.
If you are subscribing to Citare for the first time and no content assets have been generated or delivered for your business, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription date. To request a refund, email ravi@citare.in with the subject line "Refund Request" within this window.
Once Citare has generated and delivered content assets for your business (including any of: llms.txt file, JSON-LD schema, AI Profile Page, or first visibility report), no refund will be provided for that billing period. This applies regardless of whether you have reviewed or used the delivered assets.
Refunds are not available for renewal billing periods. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or by emailing ravi@citare.in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to the service until then.
Citare's service is designed to increase the likelihood that AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and others) will cite your business in relevant queries. However:
Citare makes no warranties, express or implied, that use of the service will result in any specific number of AI citations, increased business enquiries, or revenue growth.
You retain full ownership of all business data you provide to Citare, including your business name, address, services, photos, and any other information about your business. You grant Citare a limited licence to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Content assets generated by Citare using your business data (including llms.txt files, JSON-LD schema, AI Profile Pages, and report content) are owned by Citare during the period your subscription is active. Upon cancellation of your subscription, you lose the right to use these assets and they will be deleted after the 90-day retention period.
You may export your data and assets at any time while your subscription is active by requesting an export via the dashboard or by emailing ravi@citare.in.
Citare may use anonymised, aggregated data (e.g., average visibility scores by business category or city) for product improvement and research purposes. This data will not identify you or your business.
You agree not to:
Citare reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use provisions, without refund.
Citare's platform, software, trademarks, brand name, logo, and website content (excluding your business data) are the intellectual property of Ravi, trading as Citare. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited licence described in Section 6.
Citare integrates with third-party services including Google (GBP and Ads APIs), OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta WhatsApp, Razorpay, and others. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third parties' terms of service. Citare is not responsible for any changes to, or discontinuation of, third-party services that affect the functionality of Citare's platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Citare and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service; (b) your business data; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Citare provides the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Citare makes no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular results will be achieved. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
Citare may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting account deletion via email to ravi@citare.in.
